Monroe County told Michigan Indigent Defense Commission will consider county letter on June 24

Mary Gantos, Monroe County Indigent Defense coordinator, told commissioners May 21 that she contacted the Michigan Indigent Defense Commission (MIDC) about a county letter and was told MIDC would consider the matter at its June 24 meeting.
Gantos said MIDC staff expected to review the county’s submission on that date; she also noted a MIDC staffer involved in the matter had been ill recently, which delayed a final response. No additional action was taken by the board at the meeting.
