The Show Low City Council unanimously adopted a resolution accepting a donation of about nine acres and approved the fourth amendment to the Show Low Bluff development agreement to support the planned Show Low Sports and Event Center.
City staff explained earlier agreements and amendments dating back to 2010 and said SRH Holdings (as owner) and Show Low Bluff Development Corporation (as developer) previously deeded land for the event center. As planning progressed, staff said a different parcel (APN 2010-28035, together with APN 2010-28036) better suits the event center site because a previously planned parcel would have been intersected by future Wolford Road. The amendment substitutes the new parcel(s) for the originally planned parcel while keeping other terms of the development agreement unchanged.
Staff recommended the council adopt Resolution R2025-17 accepting the donation of the specified APNs and authorizing the mayor to sign the fourth amendment to the Show Low Bluff development agreement. A councilmember moved to adopt the resolution, the motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
Staff noted the two parcels to be deeded total approximately nine acres; exact dimensions will be refined during final design and platting.
