Commissioner Jensen said the county annually partners with the BLM on weed control and that the BLM contributes approximately $8,000 to the county weed department. He said the recent federal office guidance required removal of an equity-and-inclusion clause from local MOUs and that the revised MOU reflects that change.
Commissioners voted to approve the MOU by voice vote. The agreement will fund the county weed-control activities outlined in the MOU; no additional terms, timelines or start dates were discussed at the meeting.
