Daniel Luke explained the heavier 3/4- and 1-ton trucks are needed for trailer towing and other road work. Commissioners authorized Daniel Luke to work with Commissioner Jensen on selecting the best-suited vehicle.
No vehicle purchases were finalized at the meeting; staff were directed to vet vehicle specifications, confirm model years and pricing discrepancies in bid letters, and advise the commission with a recommendation.
