250 Turnpike Road (contractor’s yard, major site plan approval and special permit for Low Impact Development): The board continued the hearing to June 23 (7:05 p.m. on that agenda) and extended the decision deadline to June 27, 2025. Staff and the applicant discussed landscaping, native-plant suggestions submitted by the Open Space Preservation Commission and remaining plan adjustments including handicap parking and signage; Faasen O’Neil (town peer reviewer) will receive updated submissions.
26 Meadow Lane (Reservoir Meadows — major site plan approval; LID special permit; major residential development / flexible development special permit): The board continued this multi-permit hearing to June 23 (approximately 7:10 p.m. on that night) and extended the decision deadline to June 27, 2025. The applicant submitted a hydrogeologic assessment, water-balance calculations and revised plans on May 30; town peer reviewers will receive the materials for review. The applicant explained the project’s open-space mapping and defended the proposed drainage approach that reduces stormwater discharge to Meadow Lane and routes additional flow northwest into replicated wetland/detention areas.
Board members instructed applicants to provide updated plans, native-plant lists, documentation from peer review, and any necessary signed extension forms; staff said they will distribute materials, forward them to peer reviewers and prepare draft decisions to expedite final action when the hearings resume.
