Commissioners host Leadership Greater Enid youth for Q&A on municipal government

Commissioners and the mayor emphasized study and preparation for decisions, the role of city staff in producing materials and analyses, and the importance of bringing solutions rather than only criticism to public meetings. Several commissioners encouraged students to seek leadership roles and offered to visit classrooms to explain municipal responsibilities and budgeting; the mayor invited the students to request a school‑based presentation.
The session was informal and meant as outreach; there was no formal action. Commissioners thanked the students for participating and encouraged continued civic involvement.
