Springdale council adopts tax budget for fiscal year 2026

The Springdale City Council on June 4 adopted Resolution R13 20 25, which adopts the city’s tax budget for the fiscal year Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2026.
The resolution, as read into the record, states the mayor, city administrator and finance officer/tax commissioner prepared and submitted the proposed tax budget and that a public hearing was conducted with at least 10 days’ prior notice. Section 2 of the resolution directs the finance officer/tax commissioner to submit the adopted tax budget to the County Budget Commission on or before the filing deadline of July 18, 2025.
Council moved to adopt the resolution and recorded seven affirmative votes. The resolution also includes a standard open-meeting finding citing Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
