Pasco PFD approves $40.4 million guaranteed maximum price for aquatic center; work to begin

The Pasco Public Facilities District Board on Tuesday approved Amendment No. 4 to its progressive design‑build contract — the guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for the new aquatic center — a package the board’s staff and consultants said totals about $40.4 million including sales tax.

The resolution directs the PFD executive director to negotiate and sign the amendment to the contract with Boughton Construction Company and NAC Architecture. The board voted in favor of the resolution by voice vote after receiving a presentation on final design renderings, budget breakdown and schedule.
