The measures include an amendment to section 9.5.1.03 of the city codified ordinances to permit water-department use of boats (ordinance no. 2025-40), a change removing references to the municipal swimming pool in recreational activities at parks and reservoirs (2025-41), an amendment removing reference to the parks and recreation director in waterfowl hunting rules at Reservoirs 5 and 6 (2025-42), a change to group usage of city parks and recreational activities (2025-43), and an amendment excluding funerals and burials from Sunday hours open (2025-44).
Council President put each measure to a roll-call vote after motions to adopt. For each ordinance the clerk recorded an affirmative vote from the council members present — Cassidy, Baker, Grine, Mendoza, Lake and Lehman — and the measures were declared adopted.
Council documents in the meeting packet list the affected codified ordinance sections by number; the council did not add additional explanatory material on staff implementation timelines during the vote. The council meeting record shows the ordinances were approved as emergency or regular measures where noted on the agenda and were assigned the ordinance numbers listed above.
