Burnsville — The City Council removed consent agenda item 4g from its consent list and continued the matter after staff identified inconsistencies in two vendor quotes for a data backup, recovery and security system.
City Manager Lindbergh told the council staff asked that item 4g be removed from the consent agenda and continued so staff could resolve inconsistencies in the two quotes submitted for the lease/purchase agreement. “We identified some inconsistencies with two quotes that were provided in this item and need some time for additional review and comparison,” Lindbergh said, and indicated staff would bring the item back to the next regular council meeting.
Council approved a motion to continue the item; a motion and a second were recorded and the motion carried. City staff did not provide detailed dollar amounts or vendor names in the public discussion and told the council additional review was required before returning with a recommendation.
