The request, submitted by Jean and Roger Erdman and Gail and Mark Krings, asks to change the parcel designation from A-135 Exclusive Agricultural District to A-115 Exclusive Agricultural District. The applicants told the committee they own a 40-acre tract and want to legally split the property.
Planning staff said the Town of Colburn reviewed the application at its May 25 meeting and did not object. No other written correspondence was reported by staff.
During the public hearing the applicants were online but offered no additional materials. Committee member Jerry moved to approve the rezone; Don seconded. A roll-call vote was taken and six members voted in favor, producing a committee approval to forward the matter to the full county board.
The committee record notes the item will appear before the full county board on June 17 at 6 p.m.; final recording or zoning change is subject to that board’s action.
