Council OKs street closure for Main Street "Girls Night Out" fundraiser

The Enterprise City Council voted to approve a street-closure permit for the Main Street Enterprise and Friends of Main Street “Girls Night Out” event scheduled for Sept. 27, 2025.
The permit authorizes closure of West College Street from Main Street to Railroad Street and a portion of East College Street from Main Street to the first alley, with closure hours from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.; the event will run 3 p.m.–8 p.m. The applicant told the council the rain date was removed and that police would patrol the event, which is a recurring annual charity shopping event to benefit local breast cancer support services.
The council motion to approve the permit carried without opposition.
