The LaSalle County Land Use Committee voted on June 4 to enter executive session under 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(11) to discuss matters related to pending or imminent litigation.
The motion to go into executive session was moved by Tom Miller and seconded by Kathy Owens. The chair called the roll; members voted aye and the meeting moved into closed session. The chair said the committee would wait until staff member Amanda arrived before proceeding into the executive session.
Members recorded on the roll call as voting in favor included Dave Torres, (Andrea/Kendra) Pottinger, Kathy Owens, Steve Aubrey, Kathy Bright, Tom Miller and Doug Stockley. The committee cited the statutory exception for discussion of probable or imminent litigation and indicated the basis for that finding will be recorded in the minutes of the closed meeting.
