Reynolds told the board the grant would pay for materials distributed during the CAC’s school outreach. She said other local organizations, including Stepping Stones, also provide related community education and that some school districts run their own programs. A County Board member asked whether the program was the puppet-based curriculum discussed previously; Reynolds said the money is for materials and that she was not certain of specific curriculum details.
Mr. Hansen, County Board member, moved to approve the grant; Mr. Ziebarth seconded. The board voted in favor. “All in favor, aye,” the chair called; no opposition was recorded and the motion passed.
