The Little Falls City Council on May 19 adopted resolutions to allow large-scale street and sidewalk sales for the Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Arts & Crafts Fair and for the Westside Improvement Association’s antiques and collectibles event during the festival.
City staff and representatives from the chamber described plans for the downtown street closures and vendor layout. The chamber representative said organizers hope to reach about 600 crafters and reported current registrations around 454–460. The layout maps include 19 feet clear from the sidewalk to the first booth, then three 30-foot booth spaces, then another 19 feet to preserve room for emergency vehicle access.
The Westside Improvement Association representative said the antiques and collectibles component has been held for about 23 years (53rd year overall for the festival interrupted by COVID in 2020, according to remarks) and looks forward to continuing community improvements on the west side. Council members voted to adopt both resolutions.
