The Little Falls City Council approved a $23,374 quote from W.W. Getch for a lift station needed to route splash-pad wastewater into the city sanitary sewer system.
Greg, a city staff member, told the council staff solicited quotes from W.W. Getch and Quality Flow; W.W. Getch was the lower bid at $23,374. Greg said city staff will perform installation using city equipment and that staff expects installation labor to take a couple of days and cost “less than $2,000.” He said startup training would be provided by the vendor and that the expense will be charged to the Park Improvement Fund established for the splash pad.
Mayor Zilka moved to approve the purchase, and Council Member Lundberg seconded the motion. The motion passed.
