Staff said the position had been vacant since Jan. 1 following an expired term and that Eric Van Dyken, county zoning administrator, supported the appointment. Commissioner Imbeck moved to appoint Jesse Gislason; the motion passed by voice vote.
Gislason's appointment fills the vacancy and the Board of Adjustment will resume hearing and deciding applicable zoning and variance matters with the full membership.
