Hubbard County commissioners voted to appoint Mike Studanski to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission Board of Adjustment created by the recent death of Mike Kovacovich.
Environmental services staff told the board that the vacancy is within Ted's district and that Studanski is a Schoolcraft Township supervisor and retired contractor. A commissioner who had served with Studanski said he reviews facts carefully and would be a good addition.
The board moved, seconded and approved the appointment by voice vote. The appointment term runs through Dec. 31, 2027.
