County administrators told commissioners they are implementing recommendations from CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) and expect to review job descriptions and reporting lines in the next 30 days. The administrator said the county will interview candidates this week for an approved finance technician and then backfill any resulting vacancies rather than adding net new positions immediately. The administrator also said the county plans to request one additional position in the regular 2026 budget process, citing CLA's organizational review.
Commissioners and staff emphasized care in sequencing the moves so core services continue. The administrator outlined a timeline for related facility moves that will affect when new staffing arrangements take effect: furniture delivery for a recently renovated floor is expected the week of June 23, with staff relocations planned the week of June 30'July 4; first-floor remodeling would follow those moves.
No formal amendments or objections were recorded. The board approved the appointment by voice vote during the meeting.
