Pursuant to Education Code requirements, La Canada Unified School District opened a public hearing to solicit comment on the district’s proposed 2025–26 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). Staff said the LCAP had been available at the fiscal services office for public inspection since May 29 and that required consultation with advisory committees, bargaining units, parents and students had been completed.
No members of the public offered comments during the hearing and no online comments were posted on the agenda item, so the board closed the hearing. Staff indicated the LCAP will return for formal adoption at the board’s June 24 meeting.
