During the lobby session of the June 2 meeting, resident Alan Friedner of 37188 Shady Drive asked council to investigate the height and noise of a hill at the Madonna Supply site, saying in part that “it's way too high in my opinion. And it's noisy.”
Friedner said he had visited the building department about two months earlier and was told staff would look into the issue but had not received follow-up. The mayor and law director responded on the record that the matter is currently “in front of the law department” and advised Friedner to speak with the law director for updates.
No formal action or vote was taken at the meeting on this issue; the transcript shows staff acknowledged the complaint and indicated further review or response would proceed through the law department and building department.
