Board members discussed the contract after administrators described the dashboard’s potential to replace or integrate several existing tools and to provide building principals and leadership teams with consolidated reports. The superintendent’s office said the project will be rolled out slowly and could allow the district to phase out other software over time.
The motion to approve the three-year, $35,000 contract with Schoolytics was made by Miss Lee and seconded by Miss Klingler. A roll call was taken and the motion passed.
District staff said the contract will improve access to data for principals and leadership teams and reduce duplication across systems; no additional implementation cost figures were included in the board presentation.
