Loxahatchee Groves orders multiple properties to remove RVs or obtain permits by July 2
Summary

Special Magistrate Amity Barnard found multiple property owners in violation of Town of Loxahatchee Groves code section 92-010 (RV registration) on June 2 and ordered those respondents to come into compliance by July 2, 2025 or face fines.
The town’s code officers presented evidence and photographs showing RVs parked on parcels without either an RV permit or a signed affidavit. The cases heard included American Print Tax Investment Inc., 1876 E Road (case 25030101); Orlando and Raquel Guzman, 14873 Collecting Canal Road (case 25020158); Armando Perales Jr. and Violet M. Perales, 13023 Bridal Road (case 25020186); and BZB Barn LLC, 968 C Road (case 25030076). In each case the town recommended compliance by July 2 and a fine not to exceed $100 per day for continued violations.
D'Angelo Campo, code compliance officer, summarized the inspection results: “The property has 1 RV on-site without a permit or affidavit.” For several properties the town provided signed certified-mail receipts (green cards) and photographs; for one property staff added supplemental photographs to the case file during the hearing to document the RV.
Most respondents were not present at the hearing. Where service was confirmed by posting and certified mail, Barnard entered the town’s evidentiary case files without objection and set fine-assessment hearings for July 7, 2025. The magistrate also recorded the town’s request for administrative costs in the amount of $234.05 for each prosecuted case and ordered those costs be payable within 30 days if a violation was found.
For the Perales matter the file included a motorhome-sized RV in the photographs; for BZB Barn the code officer supplied additional photographs during the hearing to show the RV that staff had cited. The magistrate noted that if respondents believe they have come into compliance they must request a reinspection from the town to verify compliance and avoid assessment of fines.
All cases were continued to a fine-assessment hearing on July 7, 2025, if compliance is not achieved by the July 2 deadlines.
