Community group announces July 19 back‑to‑school tailgate at Greensville County High School

Belinda Aistrapp (spelling as stated in the meeting) described a SOL kickoff partnership between Greensville County Public Schools and the community team; she said the team had secured roughly 20 community partners for that event.
Organizers asked the board to attend the July 19 tailgate in person if possible so youth and families can see elected leaders participating. They said specific funding sources for the event are not specified in the meeting and that donations from individuals and organizations are being sought.
