Dan Geisinger sworn in to Jupiter Town Council

Dan Geisinger was sworn in as a member of the Jupiter Town Council at the start of the June 3 meeting.
Town Attorney Baird administered the oath of office while Geisinger placed his right hand up and repeated the pledge: "I, Dan Geisinger, do solemnly swear ... that I will support, protect, and defend the Constitution and government of the United States and the State of Florida ... and faithfully perform the duties of the office which I am now about to enter. So help me God." After the oath, Geisinger thanked the council and his family.
"I really appreciate the opportunity to serve the town of Jupiter and hopefully my presence on the council will be for the betterment of the town," Geisinger said, and singled out his wife by name for support.
The mayor and staff paused the agenda briefly to allow family photos and signature of official documents. The meeting then continued with the scheduled items.
