Judicial administrators win committee approval for housekeeping changes to 19th JDC commissioners bill

Committee members asked brief clarifying questions about the scope of authority for protective orders and how the revision differs from language used in other districts; witnesses reiterated that the bill clarifies powers rather than expanding duties. The committee adopted a motion to report House Bill 409 favorably; no roll-call objections were recorded in the transcript.
