The Downtown Development Board on June 2 approved high-impact grant funding requests for two recurring downtown events and deferred a third larger request until the board can review outside tourism funding decisions.
Vikki Shire, CRA division manager, presented three separate high-impact grant applications. The board unanimously approved a request of up to $30,000 for Intensity Academy's “Fall Y'all,” a two-day family festival proposed for Coachman Park in October 2025. Staff said Fall Y'all is projected to draw roughly 1,500 attendees per day; the total event budget is about $36,586 with the applicant contributing 38% of costs and requesting up to $30,000 in DBP funding to cover eligible production costs and estimated city fees.
