Staff said the easement is not needed for city utilities and that vacating it would allow the development to proceed. The board moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
The action delegates authority to remove the recorded easement from city records as described in the resolution; staff will coordinate with the developer to complete any necessary filings.
