The board ultimately approved a motion to grant permits for the two June dates and to ask the Draft House owner to request a site-plan amendment for additional dates. The vote was 4 in favor, 1 opposed; the dissenting vote cited prior Planning Board action and concerns about treating applicants consistently.
Town staff noted the Planning Board had previously directed the Draft House to follow the site-plan process for recurring outdoor entertainment; the Select Board said it would inform the owner and Planning staff how to proceed. The board indicated it would revisit additional dates once the site-plan process is underway.
