Supervisor asks outside review of Just of DuPage after public comment; county staff say IRS record has been updated

A county staff member said, “I asked the sheriff's office for documentation, they did provide me an updated 9 90 from the feds. I believe the federal government just has not updated the IRS website. They did provide their their 99 they're as of May 15, they are they are in good standing.” The staff member said they were speaking only to the IRS status.
Committee members and staff noted the issue of nonprofit oversight and suggested discussion at a full county board meeting because the matter touches on jail operations and donations.
