According to members, the project team asked designers to rescope or reduce costs and re-submit proposals. The commission agreed to request an update at the next meeting from Drew (city staff) on the project’s status and budget revisions.
Commissioners suggested engaging children at the kids patch to solicit design ideas for the city flag and other placemaking projects, and they noted Andrew (the flag presenter) recently graduated and will provide further updates when available.
