Hoffman Estates awards $78,970 contract to replace chiller at Fire Station 24

Staff said Moultrie Mechanical was the low responsible bidder and has completed prior work for the village, including boiler replacements at the same station. With approval, staff said the replacement would take place after the 2025 cooling season and require roughly two weeks to complete.
Committee members approved the award by motion and recorded no nays. The item will proceed to implementation through the village’s capital maintenance schedule.
