On June 2 the Lakewood City Board of Education approved two personnel resolutions presented on one reading: a certified action containing one resignation for the purpose of retirement and one administrator contract, and a classified actions resolution covering two classified personnel changes.
The certified action was moved and seconded and approved by roll call votes of board members present. The classified actions resolution likewise was moved, seconded and approved by roll call. The chair asked the treasurer to call the roll for both votes; board members present recorded aye votes for both measures.
No individual names for the resignation or the administrator contract were read into the public record during the motion's presentation on June 2, and the motions were entered as single‑reading approvals. Board members did not elaborate on the personnel items during the meeting.
These approvals concluded the board’s personnel business for the evening; the board adjourned shortly after the votes.
