Council confirms Brenda Young to Tiffin Tree Commission through 2025

Tiffin City Council unanimously approved Resolution 2025-28 to accept Mayor Lee Wilkinson’s appointment of Brenda Young to serve an unexpired term on the Tree Commission through Dec. 31, 2025.
Councilor John Hayes moved for passage of the resolution; Councilor Ben Reissner seconded. During discussion the mayor recounted Young’s prior service to the city and a 2024 proclamation recognizing her years of service. One council member added, “I wholeheartedly support it and I think Brenda Young will do great with whatever capacity she serves the city.”
The clerk called the roll and the resolution passed on a 5-0 vote. Council provided no amendments and directed the law director to prepare legislation accepting the appointment for formal filing.
