Milton council removes prohibition on taking official action during public hearings

The proposed edit removes that sentence while leaving the remainder of the rule intact, allowing the council the discretion to take action during a public hearing if it chooses.
There were no public comments on the item and no further debate; Council member Juliet Johnson moved approval and Council member Andrea Verhoeff seconded. The council voted unanimously to approve the amendment to the internal rules.
