Council adds first presentation of ordinance restricting fireworks near equine facilities ahead of July 4

A motion to approve the agenda as amended was made and seconded earlier in the meeting, and when the first‑presentation items were taken up the council approved the first presentation unanimously. The ordinance will return under the first‑reading/public‑hearing process for subsequent council consideration consistent with normal code amendment procedures.
