County officials warn of state fee increases that will raise recording and license costs July 27

As a result, the cost of a marriage license will increase from $72 to a hundred and $72, and that's effective July 27." Other items flagged included Discover Pass increasing from $30 to $45, personalized license plates rising from $42 to $52, and a new luxury vehicle tax of 8% on the sale price of vehicles valued over $100,000.
The official emphasized the county staff who process transactions are implementing state law changes and said the auditor will send letters to those who do a lot of business with the auditor's office so they are aware of the fee changes. The board did not take formal action on the announcement; it was presented to inform residents and businesses of upcoming state-level changes.
