Board approves personnel slate; names interim principals and other administrators

Superintendent’s announcements introduced several administrator assignments: Jenny Bridal was named interim principal at Fairview Elementary School. Dan Ford was appointed assistant principal and gifted support at ISLE after serving as an administrator on special assignment at Southeast. Jimmy Geikema was named interim principal at Wilcox Elementary School. Candy Tarvin will serve as principal assistant at Lindsay School on a full‑time basis. Bridal Filipiak will transition from principal at Wilcox to a central office administrator focused on college and career readiness. The board also welcomed Keenan Cattell as a new district school psychologist; Cattell is a graduate of Southeast High School.
The board recognized outgoing cabinet member Tracy Gage and noted her upcoming retirement. Several hires were accompanied by brief staff introductions and expressions of thanks; no contested appointments or rollbacks were reported during the vote.
