The Common Council on May 27 approved a donation agreement between the Boy Scouts of America and the City of New Berlin for an Eagle Scout project by Stanley Hall to construct and install four benches at Gatewood Park.
Alderman Lefebvre reported the Parks, Buildings and Grounds Commission unanimously recommended the donation agreement after considering the proposal on May 12. The council moved, seconded and approved the agreement by voice vote.
Stanley Hall was thanked during the meeting for his work; there were no objections recorded and no city funding requested for the donation.
