The New Berlin Common Council on May 27 approved a vendor agreement authorizing Lynn Metz of Genesis Martial Arts to provide taekwondo classes through the city’s recreation program.
Alderman Horenda reported the Recreation Commission recommended the agreement at its May 19 meeting and said the city will receive 25% of each participant fee as part of the partnership. The commission described the arrangement as supporting “a sustainable model for the future of recreational fitness in our community.”
The council moved, seconded and approved the vendor agreement unanimously. No additional conditions or funding changes were specified during the meeting.
