The New Berlin Common Council on May 27 unanimously approved City financial policies 1 through 14 following a routine three-year review by the Finance Committee.
Alderwoman Krupa, reporting the committee’s recommendation, said the committee made “a minor adjustment” to policy No. 3 (cash handling procedures) and policy No. 8 (financial reporting) and recommended approval by a 3–0 vote. The council then moved, seconded and approved the policies without further discussion.
The committee review was described as routine; no budget reallocations or new spending were proposed in the session. The council did not identify additional follow-up tasks or require further revisions at the meeting.
The action finalizes the committee’s suggested text changes to the two policies and leaves the remainder of the 14 policies in place.
