Menomonee Falls awards $648,962.27 contract for Optimus Way reconstruction, adds 32 parking spaces

The Village of Menomonee Falls Board of Trustees on June 2 awarded the Optimus Way reconstruction and parking-lot contract (project No. 64079) to Vinton Construction Company for a total base bid of $648,962.27.
Trustee Katie Cross moved to award the contract after the village received seven bids. The project will extend parking by roughly 32 spaces, build a retaining wall and a retention pond, and extend the sidewalk. Village officials said 100% of the project will be paid from impact fees. The motion passed unanimously.
The board authorized village staff to proceed with contract execution and construction oversight per standard public-works procedures.
