Council holds River Ridge Section 2 plat for second reading pending performance-bond review

The city planner told council staff had received drafts of the required performance bonds for that section but had not yet approved or accepted them and asked that the plat ordinance be conditioned on review and receipt of those bonds.
The presenting council member proposed holding the ordinance for a second reading so the city could complete its review; the council agreed and held the item for second reading at the June 3 meeting. The motion to hold the ordinance was seconded by Council member Sherry Theiss and carried on roll call.
Meeting minutes state the performance bonds were received after hours the day of the meeting and that formal acceptance and approval of the bonds would follow; the council specifically chose to delay final action to avoid approving the plat before bonds were accepted.
