The Plano Planning and Zoning Commission on June 2 approved an administrative replat to correct property lines for one lot in Aldridge Place, a change staff said will align the recorded plat with current deeds.
Caroline Stewart, a planner with the city’s planning department, told commissioners the application would replat one lot to reflect the lot lines shown in the property deeds. She said the original platting of the area dates to 1911. "In 1911," Stewart said when asked about the original plat date.
The commission treated the application as an administrative item because staff found it met development regulations. Commissioner Lingenfelter moved to approve the replat as recommended by staff; Commissioner Ali seconded. The motion passed, 5-0.
Staff said there are no known ripple effects to adjacent lots and that the replat would clean up a discrepancy between the recorded plat and the deeds. No members of the public registered to speak on the item.
The action is limited to recording corrected lot lines; there was no change to zoning or development entitlements as part of the approval.
