Council declines hearing, allows liquor-permit transfer for Johnny Gringo's to proceed

A council motion not to request a hearing carried in a voice vote. The clerk recorded “Yes” responses from council members present, and the presiding officer announced that no hearing would be requested. Doug stated there were no objections from the city at this time, and council members asked only clarifying questions about how transfers and DBAs are handled during sale or management agreements.
The law director noted he would incorporate comments about Johnny Gringo’s transfer into his report on the night’s business. No additional conditions or objections were recorded at the meeting.
