Brandon, you are a true gift for our district and for our team, and I congratulate you on this recognition.”

Staff member 3, a Wiseburn Unified staff member, said she first worked with Herrera at Holly Glen and praised his combination of knowledge and compassion: “Even then, it was clear that Brandon brought not only deep knowledge and skill to his work, but also a tremendous heart. Since those early days, I've watched Brandon grow into a calm, trusted, and unwavering presence in our school communities. His ability to support students through thoughtful, individualized strategies and to empower teachers and staff with the tools and confidence they need is remarkable. Brandon helps us build a school where every student is seen, supported, and given the chance to succeed.”

Staff member 4, a Wiseburn Unified staff member, described Herrera’s visible presence across campuses and concluded, “I see him running around all of our campuses, you know, and and he's always running towards kids, you know, because that's what he's here for. And it it's really clear to me, that his interest is in supporting kids and supporting their ongoing positive outcomes. So congratulations, Brandon, for this award. It's absolutely an honor to be able to share this day with you and this recognition.”
