The planning commission approved a sign application allowing two identical logo/window decals for SADA Suites at the rear-fronting storefront of 80 West Washington Street.
Applicant Brandon Taylor described the logo — an orange circular mark and wordmark — and explained the design would be applied to frosted interior glass so only the orange outline would be visible from the exterior. The applicant said the storefront has two doors and two window fronts; the signs will be applied to both window areas and professionally installed.
Planning staff said they had calculated the sign area two ways and determined that because the graphic is translucent and placed on an alley-facing frontage, the proposal fits within the local size limits. Staff also confirmed that required documentation and measurements had been provided. The commission moved and seconded a motion to approve docket PC25012; the motion carried unanimously.
Taylor said interior renovations are complete and he expects a mid- to late-July opening.
