“I’ll make a motion we reject all bids and re‑advertise as needed,” a council member said during the item; the motion carried with an affirmative vote. The council did not award a contract and directed staff to rebid the project.
The item is tied to CDBG funding and the library improvements; staff said the procurement will be run again through the county and returned to council once bids are reopened and evaluated.
