Advisory committee adopts draft bylaws and sets cadence for future meetings

The advisory committee created to advise on Choose How You Move reviewed a proposed set of bylaws and voted to adopt the document as a draft to guide committee process and meetings.

During the meeting a member moved that the body adopt the draft bylaws; another member seconded. The chair called for a voice/hand vote and staff recorded the motion as adopted, with two members noting abstentions.

Committee members and staff discussed meeting cadence and suggested quarterly meetings as a starting point, with staff proposing to return with a recommended calendar after assessing anticipated deliverables and near-term milestones. Staff also asked committee members to review the draft bylaws and to send comments to staff ahead of the next meeting so that any revisions could be considered in committee.

Staff said they would circulate meeting materials, the draft bylaws and a proposed schedule, and requested committee members complete a brief introductory survey and, where possible, ride WeGo services to observe operations before future meetings.
