Patrice Richard, a South Fulton resident, told the June 2 CCIM meeting she is requesting relief from a zoning condition so two adjacent R-2 lots can be combined and developed as a single multigenerational home at 3268 Enon Road.
Richard said she and her husband purchased two 1-acre lots and want to join them so the finished house can accommodate multiple generations with private sleeping areas and full bathrooms while maintaining shared living space. “We want to stay in the community. We like the community and, this is our solution to our final home here,” Richard said.
A neighbor who previously divided the original parcel explained she has built a multigenerational home nearby and said multigenerational design is distinct from multifamily. Planning staff clarified the request relates to a modification (M25-001) to reduce three lots to two under the parcel/zoning position identified in the application. No vote or final determination occurred at the informational meeting; the applicant presented the request and answered clarifying questions.
